Saturday workshop : Come along and find that "Dita Von Tesse in you"! Bellydance-Burlesque is a new way to let that Va-Vroom woman come forth. A fun time learning some of Mademoiselle Ishtar's Bellydance-Burlesque dance combinations for all ages. Come frolick with a feather boa and fans, and pout your way to lunch! Feminine, Fun, Frivolous & Flirty you will learn Mademoiselle's Bellydance-Burlesque dance combinations using a feather boa and fans in the morning and in the afternoon you can put that together to do a beautiful cheeky and sexy dance !!
Wear : comfortable exercise gear, or feel free to experiment by bringing heels, flirty skirt, and bustier top should you desire (your exercise gear should be fitted tops and leggings/pants.
Buy your own feather boa and fan or buy one from Ishtar ($6 for boa & fan)

Ishtar's Phoenix Fan Veil Combinations
Come and learn some unique fan veil moves created by Ishtar :
Koi fish, Phonenix bird, fantail, China Doll, Peacock, Dragon tail, ribbon wheel, twirls and more. Learn how to link your moves from one combination to another, going from closed fans to open and barrel turns, how to carrying fans in your costume to use or put away so other movements can be done without the fans. Add a Chinese Parasol or other parasol for variety to make your entrance enchanting.
COST : $40 incl gst

What to bring, Fan Veils, Parasol or umbrella- optional
I do have 10 pairs of Fan veils for sale at this workshop, cost is $60 incl gst a pair, or $35 incl gst for one. These fan veils are top quality silk, and the perfect size for hands to manipulate, and are ones Ishtar loves to use.

Ishtar has danced with fan veils for the past 2 and half years and is delighted many audiences around the greater Auckland Area, including the Chinese Moon Festival where the Fan Veils are greatly appreciated as fans are very much a Chinese dance Prop. Recently, in early June 2010, Ishtar danced with these Fan Veils at the "Love Boat Cabaret Show at the Bruce Mason Theatre" . Many of the Professional Dancers and the General Audience gave me feedback of how much they enjoyed this dance and prop.
